Introduction

Overview

The Care Messenger Platform provides a message delivery and acknowledgement mechanism for registered users. These messages are consumed on a televison, via a connected set top box and responded to via remote control.

A message set can consist of one or more messages, each with up to 5 possible responses. Each message in a set can also have multiple attached images or videos. This provides a large amount of flexibility to cover a variety of use cases, from simple reminder messages to complex questionnaires.

Hierachy

The Care Messenger platform is composed of a number of entities, arranged in the hierachy shown above.

• Organisation

  Your company or Organisation

• Site

  Your organisation can define one or more sites to divide your user base. A site is a means of grouping users, this often refers to a group of users at a geographical location but it can also be used for more generic groupings.

• Administrator

  Someone who has been assigned permissions to send messages to Residents at one or more sites.

• Resident

  A Resident is the recipient of messages and owner of the Care Messenger equipped televison.

• Supporter

  A supporter is someone who forms part of a Resident’s support network. This could be a family member, friend or carer.
